NATE AND THE BIG YELLOW BUS

To school Nate had to go because he was older

His fear of the big bus he now must get over

He had watched out the window for about a year

All the kids on the bus gave him such fear

He told his mom he was afraid of the Yellow bus
She told him to stop making such a very big fuss
He thought to himself when the bus he did get on
Would he meet any friends or sit all alone
Then the day did come for the bus to stop for him

His mom came along so he could meet all of them

He set in a seat with two kids who looked a like
They said they were twins named Misty and Mike

When the boy in front turned around and Nate knew

It was his friend that lived on his street who's name was Caillou

Nate was happy he liked the bus he surely did

Then it stopped at his school that was very big

But Nate was not very scared any more

When school was over he ran out the door

To get on the Big Yellow Bus he used to be afraid of

And talk to his friends until it got to his house that he did love

He ran to his mom and gave her a big kiss

Because she always knew all the fun he did miss

By riding the Big Yellow Bus that he used to fear

He now had new friends through out the year
